Facens, like all higher education institutions, faces the challenge of maintaining the number of students after the Covid-19 pandemic. To face this difficulty, we implemented innovative learning technologies, both in the face-to-face and online model, in addition to participating in high-impact extension activities in the lives of students and the community in our region. This is because if the pandemic created significant adversity, it also challenged us to innovate and improve our teaching and learning practices.

At Facens, we have many initiatives to improve the student experience and keep them engaged. We emphasize:
The month before classes is intended for Facens freshmen and also for candidates who took the entrance exam in the current year and have not yet enrolled, with activities to review the main subjects that will be covered in their respective courses, in addition to many integration activities.
A special moment that is part of the welcome program is Freshmen Week, promoted so that everyone can prepare for university life. integrating with veterans and the Facens community in general. We offer lectures, dynamics, and opportunities for experiences around the campus. We also promoted the Solidarity Trot, focused on acting for the benefit of institutions and causes relevant to the city - a rich initial contact with the culture of generosity widely promoted in several actions of the Facens University Center.
Facens has international partnerships with several educational institutions around the world, providing students with opportunities on and off campus and also offering exclusive exchanges with scholarships and double degree options, as well as internship opportunities abroad.
Facens has Innovation Centers in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation, Sustainability, Social and Emotional Well-being, Projects and Prototyping, Software, game, and artificial intelligence development, Smart Cities, Student Competitions, and others.
Offering internship and effective vacancies to Facens students and support from how to set up a curriculum to how to behave in an interview, with actions, and improvements aimed at the process of entering the labor market.
Students with difficulty in the subjects can look for students who are monitors precisely to provide support for academic activities.
Throughout the year, many events are held that bringupdates, experiences, contact with companies, projects, and exhibitions. We cancite as examples: Careers Plugin and Market, and Innovation and Competitions,freshman welcoming activities, lectures, seminars, conversations, anddiscussion tables, among others.
Students have access to psychopedagogical support to support their studies, learning difficulties and dealing with issues that may compromise their good performance during classes.
