Climate change is considered one of the greatest threats to the planet and humanity. Its consequences are already experienced in many aspects of our lives, from health to the global economy. At the Facens University Center, we adopted a series of activities to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from our daily activities, in addition to seeking the development and implementation of new technologies for the production of clean and renewable energy.

In 2022, we expanded our solar photovoltaic power generation system by more than 70kWp, thus generating 15% of all electricity consumed by the campus from this renewable source.
