The month before classes begin is dedicated to Facens freshmen and candidates who took the entrance exam that year but have not yet enrolled. Activities include reviewing the main subjects that will be covered in their respective courses, along with various integration events.
A special part of the welcome program is UP! Facens, an event designed to prepare students for university life, fostering integration with upperclassmen and the broader Facens community. During this event, students can attend lectures, participate in interactive sessions, and explore the campus. They also engage in UP! Solidarity, focusing on supporting institutions and causes relevant to the city—a valuable initial contact with the culture of generosity widely promoted in various Facens initiatives.
Centro Universitário Facens has international partnerships with various educational institutions worldwide, offering students opportunities both on and off-campus. This includes exclusive exchange programs with scholarship processes, double degree options, and internship opportunities abroad.
Facens hosts Innovation Centers in areas such as Games, Apps, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Metaverse and Blockchain; Smart City Solutions; Digital Construction, Infrastructure and Geotechnics, Materials and Components; Digital Content Production; Social Innovation; Digital Fabrication Laboratory; Artificial Intelligence; Industry 4.0 Solutions; Hardware, Software, and Firmware Product Development; Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation; Well-being and Quality of Life; and Student Competitions.

Students facing difficulties in their courses can seek assistance from peer tutors for academic support.
